We would like to keep you updated on the latest product features available now in your Objective Connect account.

New Objective Connect Toolbar

Perhaps the biggest update you will notice is the change to your toolbar. We have repositioned the tool bar to the top of your screen, which is a more familiar position for users, and the design will allow for easier navigation from mobile and tablet devices.

You will also see the new guiders pop up along the toolbar. This will give you pointers on how to navigate your way through the tool bar. Once you have viewed the guider or moved to the next guider you will not see this message again.

Managing Folders and Documents

One of the most requested updates to Objective Connect has been to allow Share Owner to create folders and sub-folders within their shares as well as having more control over the documents added to their own Shares. 

With the latest update Share Owner are able to create, rename and delete these folders and also rename and delete any documents that have been added to these folders (provided the share permissions allow it). 

HTML Viewing of Images, Videos and Audio within Shares

It will now be possible to preview media assets directly within Objective Connect without having to save them locally. This will allow you to quickly view large visual documents without waiting for each to download.

Increased Security with Password Lockout

To protect your account, if there are repeated attempts to login with an incorrect password, your account will be locked for 15 minutes. Your account will return to normal after that time and you can either login or reset your password if needed.

Administrators can now take control of Shares

For organisations who are using Objective Connect with our Reporting Dashboard, nominated share administrators will now be able to take over ownership of a Share if an employee moves roles or leaves the organisation ensuring information continues to be protected.
