Our very first Connect Customer Update

- 20 March 2018

Welcome to our first Objective Connect Customer Update for 2018! I've put this communication together in response to a number of common conversations that I'm seeing across the customer base. I'd welcome any feedback you have.

Here now - Objective Connect has had a makeover!

You may have noticed that we've rolled out to all customers our latest software update. This represents a significant step-change for the product that we're really excited about. If you missed the recent Getting Started with the Next Gen of Objective Connect webinar, please email me and I will invite you to a Workspace that contains the presentation materials and a copy of the webinar recording.

Coming soon - Download as a permission

Not all collaboration is two-way. There are multiple use-cases that require agencies to share content but restrict the ability to download local copies. Our Connect developers are busy working on this feature that will include watermarking as well as adding 'download' as a permission when applying abilities to participants. We're running a webinar on April 11 to take you through this.

Tips & Tricks

Don't forget there is always something behind 'the three dots' in the new ODL interface!Save yourself time by downloading documents without needing to click through; rename your workspace or even schedule your workspace to close at a time that's convenient for you. Need to add a permission to one of your participants? Click on the three dots next to their name. Just remember: '...' = added functionality!
